458 Challenge Series
Beginning in 2011, the Ferrari Challenge season allows Ferrari owners to race their 458 Challenge cars. Ferrari created the Challenge Series to enable Ferrari customers to enjoy their specially built Challenge models in a structured, competitive environment, racing against other Ferrari owners on the most challenging race tracks in North America. The Ferrari Challenge is meant for the enjoyment of all its participants, and the rules are written to support that intention.
The 2012 Ferrari Challenge season will be contested with the 458 Challenge separated into two categories:
- Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli – designated to those drivers with an established racing resume, albeit not professional drivers
- Ferrari Challenge Coppa Shell – designated to novice drivers and those who have limited amount of racing experience
Drivers will be assigned to one of these categories at the first race.
For each of the two categories, a podium ceremony with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards will be held after each race and both categories have their own seasonal championship. At conclusion of all North American races, drivers having competed in at least 4 race events will be invited to participate in the International Finals.
Our sanctioning body, the Grand-Am, will require that any new Challenge participant with no previous history in the Challenge, will have a coach for their first season of competition. The Grand-Am maintains a comprehensive list of Challenge coaches approved to coach in the series.
458 Full Season Championship Package (Option A)

The Full Season Championship Package is a comprehensive package that includes all 7 North American race events**. We are certain that you will find this package to be an excellent value. The cost for this package is $55,500 USD, which includes the items below*:
- Seven (7) race event entry fee
- Fuel -- per series regulations
- Pirelli Tires -- per series regulations (8 tires for 2 races per weekend)
- Memorabilia item
- Official SABELT Challenge suit
- Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd finishing positions and special achievement awards
- Special race and season awards
- Two (2) hospitality tickets - one (1) driver and one (1) guest for 4 race events (St. Petersburg, Montreal and Toronto - only one (1) driver hospitality pass is included, other passes can be purchased upon request)
- Included are a complete set of brake rotors and brake pads

458 Season Championship Package (4-Race Minimum)

This 458 Season Championship Package allows drives who are not able to participate in all races, but are interested in at least 4 race events**. The cost for this package is $32,000 USD, and every additional race will be charged as a single race entry at $10,000 USD per race. The package includes the items listed below*:
- Four (4) race event entry fee
- Fuel -- per series regulations
- Pirelli Tires -- per series regulations (8 tires for 2 races per weekend)
- Memorabilia item
- Official SABELT Challenge suit
- Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd finishing positions and special achievement awards
- Special race and season awards
- Two (2) hospitality tickets - one (1) driver and one (1) guest for 4 race events (St. Petersburg, Montreal, and Toronto - only one (1) driver hospitality pass is included, other passes can be purchased upon request)

458 Single Race Entry
- $10,000 (USD)
A single race package* includes the items below:
- Single race event** entry fee
- Single race fuel -- per series regulations
- Pirelli Tires -- per series regulations (8 tires for 2 races per weekend)
- Single race trophies if earned
- Two (2) hospitality tickets - one (1) driver and one (1) guest for that event (St. Petersburg, Montreal, and Toronto - only one (1) driver hospitality pass is included, other passes can be purchased upon request)
* Is intended for new Challenge participants who have significant experience in another series / track activity or are returning Challenge drivers. All Guest Drivers / Single Race Entries require prior approval by the Challenge Committee. Please submit all entry requests to the Challenge Series Manager at Ferrari North America 14 days prior to the event (mmcneil@ferrariusa.com)
Please Note:
- Payment must be made in the form of an e-check, so you will need your bank routing number and checking account number to complete registration. For security reasons, we will not store your bank information.
- Your spouse or coach can be entered as your one additional free guest. You will also have the opportunity to purchase up to ten (10) additional VIP Hospitality Package passes during registration. Please contact the Ferrari Concierge at 1-866-551-2828 if you’d like to invite more than this limit. VIP passes for the St. Petersburg, Montreal, and Toronto event are available only via the Ferrari Concierge.
** Each race event weekend consists of two races - Race 1 and Race 2; independent 35 minute races held on different days, typically Saturday and Sunday
Each Series event (except St. Petersburg, Montreal, and Toronto) includes a full schedule of VIP activities open to Ferrari owners, sponsors, Challenge drivers, team members and prospective Ferrari customers. This package includes premium meal service in the VIP hospitality area and access to on-site events and entertainment. Get access to these events and invite your friends and family.
