Driver Coaches

Privately hired Driver Coaches for the Ferrari Challenge must complete the approval process prior to participation in the Ferrari Challenge Series.  Application forms can be downloaded from the website and must be sent to the Ferrari Challenge Manager at Ferrari North America (Fax 201-541 8488 – or e-mail: mmcneil@ferrariusa.com) no later than four weeks prior to the start of the season. Final approval for acceptance will be handled by Grand-Am, and the coach will be notified when determination for acceptance has been made.

No Coach will be permitted to participate who have not been approved in advance. 

Applications must be renewed each year for inclusion.

Beginning in 2009 Coaches must be hired on a seasonal basis. In cases where the regular coach might be prevented from assisting at any particular Ferrari Challenge event due to a race conflict, Challenge drivers may request a list from FNA or Grand Am with approved Substitute Ferrari Challenge Coaches from which they can choose for that particular weekend. 

At every event Drivers Coaches must report to the official Series Coach and must attend the scheduled Coaches Meetings as well as each and every Drivers Briefing.

ALL individually hired Drivers Coaches must hold a valid 2009 Grand Am Drivers license.
