New Transponders as of Rd. Atlanta

Please note that effective ROAD ATLANTA a new transponder system for the challenge will be used.

See attached Transponder mounting instructions for the brackets. Any questions, please contact Greg Gunther or myself.

Important details:

1.      New unit is mounted directly to the underside of the car and is well protected in the event of an accident

2.      Transponder is unique to the car number and cannot move from different cars in the same team

3.      New cars not attending Atlanta will need the transponder fitted before it attends any race

4.      Transponders will be distributed by timing and scoring

5.      Bert and myself will inspect each car when complete

6.      Teams are responsible for fabricating a bracket, mounting the unit, and wiring the unit only as mentioned in the instructions
