CHALLENGE SCHEDULE 2009 – 6 Ferrari Exclusive North American Events

Dear Challengisti,
We are very pleased to announce our 2009 Ferrari Challenge seasonal calendar. Featuring six, two race events, each event will be held as an exclusive Ferrari race weekend to be contested on the most renowned and challenging road courses in North America.

6 Events in North America

Because the Canadian Grand Prix will not be held in 2009, the Challenge will head to Wisconsin in June and make a return to the long straights and challenging bends of Road America, a popular favorite among all drivers. In total, the 2009 series will be compromised of 12 North American races contested over 6 event weekends plus the World Finals in November. We, Ferrari North America, in concert with the sanctioning body, Grand Am, are certain that you will enjoy the exciting mix of race tracks which will offer you a nice variety of configuration to hone your racing skills.

1 Day Orientation

As in prior years, there will be a new driver orientation held on the Thursday, March 19th prior to the start of official practice at the Homestead Miami Speedway. The appointed Ferrari North America driver coach will lead the training in cooperation with all individual (Grand AM approved) private coaches. This introduction is mandatory for all new Ferrari challenge drivers and is strongly recommended to all drivers competing in the 2009 Challenge season. This session also provides for an excellent platform to start the season and to get to know one another prior to the drop of the green flag.
