Driver Coaches Registration Procedures

1) All Coaches must register with Ferrari North America 2 weeks prior to each Challenge event: fax this registration form to: Attn. Ferrari Challenge Manager at 201-541-8488. At the event itself, all coaches must register with the Race Director prior to the Drivers’ Briefing and receive an official wristband that will permit them to be in a Challenge car. 

2) All Coaches must have a valid Grand Am driver’s license.

3) All Coaches must attend ALL mandatory Drivers’ Briefings.

4) Coaches are only permitted in cars that are 2 – seat configured, with the appropriate, officially installed 2 seat roll cage. NO EXCEPTIONS

5) One seat cars must be officially marked by the series Technical Management visibly from the outside. The marking must not be removed and/or tampered with. If car violates this rule, both the car and driver will be removed from the event. 

6) All Coaches must apply the official Coaches sticker clearly visible on their helmet (driver’s side) 

6) The first two sessions of every first practice day will be the only two sessions during which coaches are permitted to drive the Challenge car with the Challenge driver as passengers. Coaches will only be permitted as passengers in the cars during the remaining afternoon session(s) after the completion of these initial two sessions. Coaches are never permitted to drive the car alone.
