2010 Season

The 2010 season will start with the first race weekend at Homestead Miami Speedway on March 12th, 2010.

For our first two Racing Days we will  host the Corse Clienti department with their Clienti F1, FXX and 599XX program, which will add another dimension of exciting track action at this firs event.

 

Entry Packages

1. Season Championship Entry Package

The Season Championship Entry Package is a comprehensive package and enables a driver to score points in the 2010 season championship. 

(See the “Guest Driver - Single Race Entry” section below for information on single race entries).

 

Details – $26,000 and to include the items listed below:

        • 4 race entry fee

        • Championship fee  -- enabling drivers to   

          earn series championship points 

        • Fuel  -- per series regulations 

        • Pirelli Tires  -- per series regulations (8  

          tires for 2 race weekend/6 for a 1 race  

          weekend)

        • Memorabilia

          • Official SABELT Challenge suit

        • Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd finishing   

          positions

        • Special race and season awards, and

          year end awards

               • (2) hospitality tickets for the driver (1) and

                 one (1) guest for 4 races (except

                 Montreal – details on Montreal race will

                 be posted separately)

 

3. 4^th & 5th Race Entry packages – 

$ 4,000 per event and to include the items listed below (for full season entrants only) 

        • single race entry fee 

        • single race fuel  -- per series regulations 

        • single race Pirelli tires -- per series   

          regulations

        • single race trophies 

        • series championship points

        • (2) hospitality tickets for the driver (1) and

           one (1) guest for the 4 races

 

4. Guest Driver / Single Race Entry 

 Is intended for new* Challenge participants who have significant experience in another series / track activity or are returning Challenge drivers. Drivers entering as a Guest Driver will not receive series championship points. All Guest Drivers / Single Race Entries require prior approval by the Challenge Committee. Please submit all entry requests to the Challenge Series Manager at Ferrari North America 14 days prior to the event.

 

Details – $ 7,500 and to include the items listed below:

        • single race entry fee 

        • single race fuel -- per series regulations 

        • single race tires -- per series regulations

        • single race trophies if earned

              • (2) hospitality tickets for the driver (1) and

                one (1) guest

       

Please note that Guest Drivers / Single Race entrants who finish in the top three will be granted special achievement awards on the podium, but won’t score series points. Full season drivers will receive 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place trophies on the podium as per finishing positions disregarding guest drivers.

 

5. Car Strategy for 2010 and 2011

With confirmation from Ferrari SpA we wish to communicate the strategy for the official Ferrari Challenge car for the upcoming two seasons (2010 and 2011)

The 2010 Ferrari Challenge season will be contested with the current F430 Challenge car exclusively.

In 2011 we will run two classes which will run parallel and at the same race weekends and each run for its’ own championship

1)     The F430 Challenge class

2)     The new 458 Challenge class
